Water velocity, dissolved oxygen, and water level data in Singleton Swash, North Carolina tidal creek from 2017-09-08 to 2018-06-01 (NCEI Accession 0191916)

Water velocity data (m/s) was measured by an acoustic Doppler velocimeter within a tidal creek at approximately 0.55m above the channel bottom. Measurements were made in 5-minute bursts every 15 minutes at 64Hz. Water velocity components (UVW) were measured in an XYZ coordinate system where X is the along-channel direction, Y is the across-channel direction and the Z is the vertical direction. X is positive oriented inland. Dissolved oxygen-DO (% Saturation): DO was measured on 5-minute intervals to agree temporally with the velocity data. The DO measurements are taken at the same location as the velocity measurements. Water level measurements are taken approximately 100 meters upstream to understand tidal range within the creek.
