Watercraft inspection and decontamination data collected at the Alcan port of entry
Tabular dataset documenting watercraft inspected at the Alcan Port of Entry, Alaska. This inspection station has been in operation during summer seasons beginning in 2016 and decontaminating high risk watercraft since 2021. Inspection data includes date of inspection, type and complexity of the watercraft, origin, recent use information, and invasive species risk level. Data are stored in an open and tidy format. Variables collected over time varied depending program goals. Thus values in some variables were not collected. This dataset provides a standardized, complete collection of data gathered between 2016 through 2025.
