A directional waverider buoy located about one nautical mile south of Diamond Head, Oahu, provided an approximately 10-day time series of wave characteristics and temperatures. The waverider was destroyed by a tug. Wave characteristics include wave heights, periods, and directions. Data were collected by the University of Hawaii - Manoa (UHM).
