Winter Cover Density
Winter cover density data measuring the amount/quality of cover for a snowshoe hare at a particular plot. The Point-Center-Quarter method was employed to measure cover in 4 quarters at the plot being measured. A rating system was devised to quantify cover, from 0 = no cover to 5 = complete cover on four sides and overhead.
