Yosemite Buildings (file geodatabase)
The master dataset for the footprint of buildings in Yosemite and is a file geodatabase that includes building footprints. This will be the most current dataset for buildings in the park. Edits were made to this dataset in April 2008 to add many of the buildings in the Wawona area to the dataset. More edits made in September 2008 to dissolve polygons, add new polygons, and add attributes. More edits were made in 2009, 2010, and 2011 to add building numbers and ownership. Editing is ongoing to add FMSS numbers and remove nonexisting buildings. Comprehensive editing began in early August, 2009 to add identifiers for LCS and FMSS numbers for all park owned buildings. More edits in October, 2009 to correct locations of tent cabins in Boys Town, Curry Village. Valley and major park updates again in 2015 (including mitigation actions taken in previous years). This version represents edits up until and through December 2016.
