Published by National Park Service | Department of the Interior | Metadata Last Checked: January 25, 2026 | Last Modified: 2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
Wilderness, potential wilderness, and non-wilderness areas within Yosemite National Park. In 2008 and 2009, the data was edited to rectify inaccuracies in the original file. In 2012, the data was updated to accurately represent the potential Wilderness boundaries around all the High Sierra Camps. Around these camps, the boundary is 100 ft. from any structures, buildings, other development, septic tanks, sewer lines and leach fields associated with each camp existing at the time of designation, 1984. In 2020, the file was updated to reflect minor park boundary revisions from 2013 and 2016.
